Default 318ti coilovers

Hi i'm looking into lowering my 96ti, and i'm looking for a fairly cheap coilovers for my car. I want to buy racelands as i have had them on other cars i've owned, but from what i've read online e36 racelands fit the front but not the rear. I also read that z3 coils will work on the ti. can anyone verify this? I'm looking to go pretty low so i can "stance" my car lol. If racelands don't work what budget coils would you recommend for optimal low?
