the quote that the e36 m3 front bumper owns the 318ti, so im guessing you bought the car, purely and simply based on the condition of the front bumper, dinted panels, filthy interior, but a good front bumper, and the statement that the Rieger E46 m3 lookalike bumpers is fitted by a modifier to make his or her car look like an e46 m3, yes a modern day supercar, why not make your car look like this 346 BHP monster, i mean its alot cheaper than going for an engine transplant, brake upgrade, new suspension, clutch and gear box including changing the dials from 140 mph to 160mph, it is purely and simply based on a modifiers taste, and making their own car personal without driving down the street and seeing every compact you pass with the same bodykit ie e36 m-tec kit, if you want to keep it original, dont buy a leather interior, dont change the cd player, dont fit a spoiler, screw the lighting upgrade, dont drop the suspension, keep the standard 15inch alloys, all this extra modifying takes away from the original shape, you could argue this point if it was your mums car and she didnt allow you to tamper with the cars exterior. your own car, is your own car, im sorry but as far as i can see the only differance between you guys car is the paint.

So, montrel, hows about those magazine covers you were talking about?

E46=apple

E36=orange

You might be able to cross pollinate them, but in the end, about half the people will probably think it tastes weird.

Thumbs down EXACTLY

it doesnt look right. lines dont match. youre faking the funk. the e36 headlights doesnt match the contours of that bumper.

dont get me wrong, i love that front bumper!!! On an e46.
There is nothing boxy on an e46.

if you're going to use the logic of putting 2000+modern styling on cars..........
why not go ahead and custom the new 2007 3 series front bumper on it?

i bet if those go into production or m5 style front bumpers for the e36, you'll be on it tough huh?

"faking the funk" thats my new favourite saying!

as for bumpers, i like the e36 M-tech kit. nice, simple, how BMW made it.
