Default ripped BMW logo

Hi guys.
I am a newbie to this forum. Just looked at a BMW-1998 318ti-71k miles for $8200. It looks nice but it has a half torn BMW logo on the hood!!!!!!
And thats the only thing I hate. Is there a way to replace it or something??

Thanx for the info

Bix

To change the emblem you need a soft rag and a flat head screwdriver. You put the rag down underneath the screwdriver by the lip around the emblem, and very slowly with gentle pressure, pry up on it. Go around in a circle doing this until the emblem pulls out. Replace the grommets (rubber rings that hold the emblem in place) and the emblem at the same time.

I bought my emblems from the Local BMW dealer, cheaper than anywhere else, as my local dealer gives a 25 to 30% discount on parts.

The emblem goes for $15-25 depending where you buy it. Like others have said it is not that hard to change. Good luck on the sale and post some infos and pics when you have time!
