General compatibility with other e36's

Hi guys,

I know as far as the 318ti and other e36's what is compatible on the outside as far as body panels are the fenders. Rearwards after the a-pillar I know things are different and so isn't the interior. My question is does anyone know generally is anything in the engine bay about the same. I own 1998 base model but in my fixing of it, there are a lot of the splash panels and rubber parts missing. One of these is the wall / seperator that is around the radiator and ac condensor. On mine I think the po ripped off a lot of this stuff. I'm trying to bring the car back to how it was from the factory so I need a lot of this stuff. I've looked up some of the mechanical parts on RealOEM but I'm having a hard time with the miscellaneous plastic pieces. I was looking at a 1998 328i parts car today for the low mileage transmission and engine but also for all the other stuff I'm missing. I'm continuing my search on Real OEM, but I didn't know if anyone had a general idea of what would be compatible. It would help. I did do a thread search on here first and didn't find anything conclusive. Any help I'd appreciate. Thanks guys.
