The spare roof I recently got has them broken as well. Know what this is for? To stop the roof motion? Looks like they might be able to be special ordered: https://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin...on=54112491201 __________________ '96 318ti California Edition- Montreal blue '68 1600-2-Caribe blue | | | 07-28-2020, 06:44 PM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2018 Location: San Francisco, CA Posts: 4 | california roof I am not exactly sure, it may slide in place to hold top secure. Mine broke and top stopped opening. I have been looking everyplace for these. I ordered some on Ebay from Latvia and they got lost in shipping. I've ordered them now from multiple places in hopes that they will come from at least one of them. My car has been in shop for 2 months while we search for this part.....Thanks for responding about it. I ordered them from Pelican Parts, but doubt they really have them as there seems to be none from BMW wholesaler's who supply the various dealers. I love my car and the top, so I'll keep searching, If I end up with extra's I'll let you know. (heck even my previous track car was s50'd with 272whp and stock ti half shafts, i ripped apart the whole rear end of the car from torque but never broke a ti half shaft YET.)
