Urgh - just saw that sk8nmidget is selling them on bimmerforums, so I can only assume that these are the same. . .

I've been considering Kosei K1s, but just don't know. . . I'm still debating going back to school next year or selling the Ti and picking up something better suited for AutoX, so no big deal.

Yea, i still have mine, but im selling them when in favor of a new set of rims to go along with the new exterior and paint. Did you want to try them on or something? Theyre 17x8 215/45/17 and 205/40/17 21lbs per rim and i forget how much the tires weigh. Koseis are nice, but there are other lightweight rims out there that you can buy for the same price and performance.

Im going to be wrenching next week. New control arms and Bilstein struts.

I guess i havent updated the .org in a while so heres a few things youve all missed if you dont visit bf.c often.

7-1-08

1. ASA Ar2 17x8 Et20 with 215/4x/17
2. Fenders will be rolled a bit for the new setup since im lowered 2.75" in the front and ~3.25" in the rear
3. E46 roof spoiler
4. ACS 3-piece rear decklid spoiler
5. Mtech front bumper cover
6. Found a damaged sport rear bumper locally, not sure on price, otherwise non-sport rear cover with possible custom diffuser
7. Shark fin matched with new satelite radio
8. Apexcone headlights, chrome blacked out, Xenon lense retrofit, 4300k Xenon install
9. Fog kit install with 4300k Xenon
10. New Cat and catback fabrication
11. Respray in Moreagrun Metallic
12. Color-matched mouldings
13. Roof and roof spoiler painted in a metallic dark gray
14. Shadow kidneys
15. Retinted tail lights
16. Paint valve cover black, respray intake manifold
17. Fabricate new CAI
18. Black recaro knock-offs
19. Momo steering wheel
20. Redye carpet black
21. Race-style battery with relocation to rear of car
22. Custom, single, 10" woofer and stock speakers replacement
23. Soundproofing

Most recent pic of me hacking up the car since there was a hole in the bumper from the duals. I can either do the custom diffuser from a Corvette or supra, or i can do a non-mtech or mtech bumper if i can find one.

7-10-08

New idea and setup im developing.

Bimmerworld has created an intake and cooling system that they sell for nearly 3,000$ and still requires some fabbing, tuning, and other parts. Ive come up with the cooling system so far for about 200 or so and still coming up with the actual airbox design that utilizes the drivers kidney and the MAF sensor, which is deleted from the bimmerworld race m54 engine.

7-17-08

Finally started putting my idea down on paper and bringing it to life with CAD and putting a parts list together that ive found online from different manufacturers and brands.

So far, my kit will include:

Aluminum dual core radiator
Aluminum thermostat housing
Aluminum prebent piping for coolant
Aluminum expansion tank
75C thermostat
12" electric fan
Custom mounting brankets and hardware
Custom intake system
Cone filter element
Bottle of Redline water wetter
Intake will be wrapped with Gold foil protective film to reflect heat and keep intake temps at a minimum

7-18-08

Hmm, awesome progress. Wish I had time to get mine cleaned up more, i'm in the middle of an undexpected (aren't they all) head gasket.

Last couple pics, why tint just the tops? I like the all tinted look, I think i'm going to be doing that myself sometime.

just a matter of taste, I like the half-tinted look more than full tint

Thought so, didn't know if there was a problem with not enough light making it through or something.

Installed the full Mroady suspension, very nice feeling, much better than my 212k stock crappers. Ride height isnt to my likings but im not gonna complain.

Then today, i met up with an old ti friend in the area who was generous and helped me out with some cosmetic issues.
