Bought it at Keller Brothers Ford in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, in December, 2010. Had 101K on the odo. when I bought it. The car had lived its life in the suburbs of Philadelphia, owned by a college professor who gave it to his daughter who drove it awhile before trading it in on a Ford Focus (go figure). Had been maintained at a BMW dealership. I called them, and they were nice enough to give me a service history. I would say that the exterior is 9 out of 10;the same goes for the interior. We all like to think that we made good deals on your cars, and I am no exception. I think that the sales manager either stole the car from the girl, or didn't bother to look at the ti market when he set the price. I got him to come down $200 to $4800. Of course I had to fly up to Pennsylvania from my home in Texas to pick it up, but really I had a ball doing that and "bonded" with the car on the 1400 mile trip home. Originally, I didn't want a base model, but I kept coming back to this one based on the pictures on Autotrader and the good CarFax report. I put a $500 non-refundable deposit down and jumped on a plane. My apologies for going on and on, but I like to tell my "car story." | | | 05-04-2011, 03:41 AM | #176 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Los Angeles, CA Posts: 1,464 | Quote: Originally Posted by 318tiCutie I googled the VIN of the 98 318ti I just purchased and found this forum.
