I'm looking for a vac diagram to help solve the idle issue on my 95 ti. It doesn't like to start at all when cold.....idles extremely low, will die if you give it gas. Once it warms up it will idle high (1500 rpm) and if you put it in N (it's an auto) the idle will jump around. Unrelated, but the rad fan is on all the time (has been since I cleaned it), even with the AC off. Main thing is to solve the idle issue, so I can get the car emissions tested and register/tag it | | | 05-17-2009, 07:55 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: Greensboro, NC Posts: 234 | have you checked realoem.com yet? | | | 05-17-2009, 09:03 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Atlanta Posts: 159 | maybe I missed it, but I went through most of the items on there and didn't see it. Still waiting on my bently to come in from amazon. Should have it in there, the bently for my 535 did. | | | 05-19-2009, 11:04 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | should be a diagram on the passenger side strut tower. Check your intake boot for holes as well as check/clean your ICV valve. If you think its a cracked hose or leak take a propane torch and just open the valve to let the propane out DO NOT IGNITE IT. Then move it around the engine bay. When you hear your RPMS increase, there is your leak. __________________ -Jeff | | | 05-27-2009, 07:15 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Santa Clara Posts: 97 | I have the same EVAP leak code come on the tech II tool. Really cheap parts. __________________ -Jeff | | | 05-27-2009, 08:40 PM | #9 | Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Santa Clara Posts: 97 | Quote: Originally Posted by Xenocide just replace them without testing if you think they are leaking. Since this #7 cannister thing is under the itake manifold I am hesitant to dismantle the whole thing and add more issues. __________________ ***SOLD***The Ultimate Dying Machine!!!
