Ok so I have no one else to complain to because...well everyone I know has already heard me ranting. So a month ago I rented a Budget truck for my girlfriend's move on Sept. 1st. I figured that I'd beat out at least some of the college kids. I reserved my truck..and then yesterday, two days before I go to move her, they call and say there are no trucks!!! Well what did I reserve?!?!
I've talked to national CS and they don't know what's going on. A inventory manager in Denver called to offer me a truck for three hours tomorrow (when we will be at work). I called Nashua NH, and supposedly they have TONS of trucks. I don't know what's going on!! We can't get a truck for some reason, cause Nashua needs to talk to the national office. This whole thing is so screwed up...
Anyone have a 10' truck I could borrow?

You know who else sucks U-Save Rentals. My friend went in and reserved a ford excurision for a camping trip in the white mountains 3 weeks before his trip. On the day he was picking it up he called them and asked if he could come a little earlier to pick it up and they asked him what he was getting. He told them an excursion and they said well we don't have one,he's like i reserved it and paid for it what do you mean you don't have it. They were like the pesron never returned it who rented it. They tell him we have an explorer and he was like wtf is this. They didn't even bother calling him to tell him nor did they try to have another sent down to them and never apologized How they hell are you supposed to fit 6 people in that with camping gear for all six. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active

Oh man, I drove to nashua with my brother, drove the truck back. Didn't even get it from budget, I got it from Uhaul. Budget promised to call me etc etc, never happened. We're also lucky we moved the truck to the new location aug. 31st. We drove over on the 1st, Boston was crazy. Uhauls and rent-a-trucks were double and triple parked. Madness. Oh well. | | | | |
