if i buy a set of ZKW headlights with preinstalled DDE halos but no HIDs will the cops stop me?

I would not be concerned about it. The chances a cop would even inspect your lights AND figure out they are not stock are about zero. If you had some crazy/nasty/chromed-out eBay units, things may be different.

I'm still waiting for something to crack my stock headlight(s) so I can justify projectors........

I don't think I have ever seen a compact with ZKW headlights. Will they fit?

Thanks for the reply. I was just curious. I have only seen Hella headlights on German compacts.
