Basically when I pull the lever the water dribbles out. Originally it didn't work when I got it because the line was broken just out from the water reservoir. I used a tight fitting plastic pipe to connect it, but there was no pressure, only dribbling once the water got all the way through. The front sprayers are fine and have plenty of pressure so I'm confused as to what could be the cause. Is this a common problem or has anyone else experienced it. Any advice appreciated. | | | 01-21-2006, 03:23 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | hook it up to an air compressor, will certainly clear any crap out the pipes __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | 01-21-2006, 03:45 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | i had a problem with my rear nozzle when i first bought the ti. i replaced it and it worked fine. __________________ | | | 01-21-2006, 05:00 PM | #4 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | It could aslo be the sprayer on thw rear windowm washer. Where it comes out that could be messed up,i replaced mine once cause it broke off the wiper. If i can recall the part was like $15 dollars,it was a rip off imo. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 01-21-2006, 05:13 PM | #5 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 head unit, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, staggered style 68s, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest, JT Designs metal undertray acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts 2002 X5 4.4 Sport Package, 53.5k miles Current Mods: e46 m3 steering wheel | | | 01-21-2006, 07:02 PM | #6 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by cali-ti | Yes that is it,cost me more from the dealership. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 01-22-2006, 01:29 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | I took that part off and used a thin pin to clean the holes out. It went from not working at all, to working perfectly. | | | 01-22-2006, 05:15 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Plano Texas Posts: 206 | Had the same problem. Disconect it at the back and at the resevoir and clean it with an air compressor. Clean the nozzle with that too. It should do the job. __________________ K&N Cone Filter with Heat Shield, Racing Dynamics Strut bar, Blisten yellow sport suspension, Clears all around, Angel eyes, Dinan Engine Chip, Infinity BassLink 10" Sub, Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel | | | 01-25-2006, 12:29 AM | #9 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Posts: 12 | Thanks for the replies. I'll get back when I have my hands on an air compressor. | | | 03-29-2018, 09:20 PM | #10 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2018 Location: USA Posts: 24 | where do I disconnect each end? I think I can probably figure out the rear end, but I have no idea where the front end of the tube would be. edit: the rear end comes out the center of the rear wiper hinge and goes to the sprayer. the front end is right on the pump connector to the washer fluid reservoir. I popped off the sprayer jets from the wiper arm and cleaned that out, and I tried the sprayer briefly with the jets removed and some gunk came out of the tube, but not much. The sprayer nozzle was definitely the problem, and carefully cleaning that out, my rear sprayer works again.
