Im from San Jose,CA I've been lurking the site since i got my car, didnt sign up until a few weeks ago, maybe a month and this is my first post. Im 18 and for my first car my brother gifted me a 95 318ti about 7 months ago. Its Boston Green-Metallic,I believe its the Active model. I got it with 144K and now running 154k. Its 100% stock, just last week i installed a trunk lip spoiler (got it color matched by my friend) and dropped a K&N filter. If theyre any ti owners in my area say wassup! In the 7-8 months that i've had my ti ive only seen a few, maybe 5-10. I would love to organize a meeting, since my area is infested with ricers and kids my age in EGs and EKs! You'll see me post in the forum quite often from now on Last edited by (408)-OUTLAWti; 10-17-2009 at 04:12 AM. | | | 10-17-2009, 03:54 AM | #2 | Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Fairfield, CA Posts: 93 | There are 4 or 5 of us in the SF Bay area that post fairly often. I have also met and talked with 3 other ti owners, but they have yet to sign up. There are every other week meets in Vallejo and Sacramento. There is also a meet every week in Concord. The younger group goes to the Vallejo and Concord meets every time it seems. There is more info in the CA section, as well as on BF.C and Baybimmerz.net about the meets. You'll need to post up some pictures when you get the chance. | | | 10-26-2009, 09:26 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: santa cruz, ca Posts: 80 | Norcal ti's Vallejo is a bit too far for now, but if you get a meet organized closer to San Jose, I'd come. I'd just got my ti about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Drove it from Nebraska!!!.. but worth every penny and every minute spent driving her back. I'm from Watsonville/ Santa Cruz County. And I don't see too many in San Francisco, either, but I've only been looking for a few weeks. boss23: Congrats to you as well! Looks good. By the way, doesn't BMW seem to have quite the variety of alloy wheels? Even tis seem to come with many different ones. I haven't yet been able to find a site that lists and categorizes them all. | | | 10-27-2009, 05:01 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: San Jose,Ca Posts: 37 | Quote: Originally Posted by PapayaSF I haven't yet been able to find a site that lists and categorizes them all. | Heres a website that list them all with picture, most ti's seem to come stock with the style 27 or style 57. http://bmwtips.com/tipsntricks/wheels/BMWWheels.htm Mine has the 27's | | | 10-27-2009, 05:20 AM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: San Francisco Posts: 29 | Nice chart Nice chart, and wow, those are all OEM? I've never seen half of them. And oddly, I can think of at least one common BMW wheel style that's not on the chart. (The ones that look like wire wheels with many thin spokes crisscrossing, but cast in one piece.) My ti has style 18, in silver. I assume that's what it came with from the factory. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
