as for the locks, i had a similar problem with my Ti, and it fixed itself when i took the door apart to fix the window. Turns out the lock was rubbing on something, not allowing it to go down easily, and the motor just either wasnt catching right or gave up from the friction. When i had my door apart i was sure to lube everything up with some lithium grease, and I'm guessing thats what helped. When you lock with the button, listen to your door closely, and if there is a sound coming from it, you may have the same problem I did. If not, take it to an alarm shop, or even BMW if you have the money and patience. I have an aftermarket Viper Alarm installed, so i'm not familiar with BMW's keyless entry systems. My hatch doesnt lock or unlock unless I use the key, and that kinda sucks, especially when I'm dropping something off, and i want to leave the car running... but i have other, more important things to fix at the moment. Well that's my 2 cents. Jeff |
