Default HELP ASAP!!! DASC Problems

So I just installed my dasc today and everything seemed to be working fine except that I had a rough idle. Then i drove it for a while longer and the idle started to get really rough.....Soooo rough that my car actually stalled when I came to a stop. And it also seems to be making a putputput sound. With this sounds comes an uneven exhaust flow. And my cheak engine light is on aswell.

I've read a few other threads and what I gather is that I have a leak somewhere. My buddy and I are going to check for leaks in the morning using starter fluid, then we will be dissasembling it and putting gasket sealer on everything.

What could be causing my eneven exhaust flow? I think it could be from one of the flue injector o-rings but I'm not sure.

Please give me some advise asap because me car needs to be fully functional by saturday.

What could be causing my eneven exhaust flow?
missfire!

check your fuel injectors as well... when I installed my DASC I never pluged back in one of the injectors & same thing happened - misfiring - rough idle - CEL. I was running on 3 cyls...
drove back to the garage, checked everything & found an unplugged injector.

also, the most obvious things are worth checking after a big job like that - cause lets face it, people miss ****... like plugs (motor & coil end) MAF connections - fuel delivery (lines / pressure regualator, etc.) - and off course vacum leaks (!) these are most common..

just park the car - grab yourself a beer - chill out for sec., & then go over absolutely everything you can see & all things which have been disconected and or changed during installation.

One thing i can say is...check the check engine light code, it could very well tell you exactly where to look.

Thanks, guys.

Marko, you called it!! I started to tear everything apart and when I finally got to the fuel rail I noticed that the #4 cylinder fule injector plug wasn't connected. So i plugged the b*tch in and she's purring like a kitten.

I have a concern though. I never really noticed the heat comming fom my engine before. The temperature seems to rize quite quick but the temp. never goes above the normal running temp. I installed a new thermostat at the same time of the dasc install so it should be working perfectly. Maybee I am just super paranoid and in tune with my car now that I have worked on it myself.

Although my super is running really smooth, it sometimes will drop down in rpms when i come to a stop. It is a slight drop but it also did that before the install, just not as noticeably. Any way to fix this without totally tearing everything appart?

do you have any type of write up of your install and a list of the items you put in along with the actual DASC Supercharger, As im going to be doing a supercharger install soon could use a good DIY guide....

Also have you installed any gauges to monitor the DASC and oil temperature etc...

yep, same here - last one in line - # 4. glad it worked out.

DASC will not make your car run any hotter or cooler than before (at least I didn't notice anything).. if your car reached dead center & it stays there, you should be fine.
The most important thing to do when changing coolant is to make sure to 'burp' the system. I, personally, had a really hard time doing this - got it wrong 2 times in a row, before I finally just took it to a local euro car shop 2 have it done properly. It only cost me a few bucks for labor (I gave them bmw coolant) & and it was worth it, if for nothing else but a peace of mind. These cars are famous for being difficult to burp (get rid of the air pockets).
There is a write up on how to do it on this site somewhere...

The needle droping (surging) is relatively normal - in fact, so much so that Nick G from Technique Tunning offers a remedy in all of his DASC tunning remap stages.
I get the same glitch some times...
