Default Need help opening hood

So, I had a bit of an altercation with someone and now cannot open my hood. The release lever doesn't work as the hood has been wedged shut. Do any of you know of a way to release it? Possibly from underneath the front of the hood? It's getting scrapped and replaced anyways, so I can use force. However, I'd really rather not. I'm sure you understand.

She looks ugly, but can still be driven with a few minor adjustments. No major parts have been damaged. However, I'm going to wait and repair everything at once. All this incident means is that I get some newer, niftier things. As well as more hours on the car. ^_^
