Hi from a newbie,
I'm coming to the end of rebuilding the top end of our M43tu powered Touring after a catastrophic failure of the DISA valve.
I've disconnected and removed the throttle body for cleaning and inspection, and found that I can't manually open the throttle butterfly valve even with the throttle valve switch and both Bowden cables removed.
- Should I be able to manually open the valve?
- If so, do I just gently push on one side of the vane?
Thanks in advance.
