Say you were washing your car and a part of the flag got messed up and you wanted to remove the rest of the flag, how hard would it be? Would it mess up the paint? If they are just vinyl without adhesive I would think it would remove easily. | | | 06-22-2006, 04:55 PM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Berkeley, CA Posts: 411 | I am getting dark grey for a kind of ghost effect. I agree that silver would look best on Alaska Blau. __________________ I'm back with a different 95 ti | | | 06-22-2006, 05:40 PM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Malden, MA Posts: 672 | I had pmd a guy in BFC that gives you both the front and the back for $79! __________________ "Power Rules, Smooth is Fast, Late Brake if you HAVE TO, But Always get the Inside Line.......and Fear No One." | | | 06-22-2006, 06:06 PM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Muncie, Indiana Posts: 1,551 | Quote: Originally Posted by robcarync so any suggestions for alaska blue....if im looking for something subtle....maybe a darker blue or lighter blue...any other ideas? | I think a darker blue would look pretty nice. | | | 06-22-2006, 06:26 PM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | yeah im thinking either darker blue or silver would be nice too i think....cool now if i can get my hands on some money id be golden...im waiting for my next pay check friday so i can get the dinan chip...have to see if i got some spare bucks here and there... i was thinking maybe the metallic silver or like medium blue or metallic blue.... Nowhere near how the paint would be metallic. I opted for gray instead of silver metallic because of that. Just a heads up. __________________ I'm back with a different 95 ti | | | 06-22-2006, 10:22 PM | #24 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | word up thanks for the heads up... im thinking maybe medium blue on an alaska blue car....that could work pretty well i think....its tough cause im not sure how dark of blue i should go and such. i want it to be subtle, but i also dont want it to be too close to the current shade of my car and you not be able to tell...oh well i guess ill make a decision soon if i decide to jump on this __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 06-22-2006, 10:37 PM | #25 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: PA Posts: 822 | How do you think a graphite color flag would look on black ? | | | 06-22-2006, 10:53 PM | #26 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | how would matte black look on a schwartz? I was thinking charcoal metallic but now that you mentioned the metallic is pretty extreme, I don't know. __________________ | | | 06-23-2006, 12:36 AM | #27 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Berkeley, CA Posts: 411 | Matte black would be too hard to see. Won't notice it unless you really look. Which isn't neccasarily a bad thing. Gray would be a little eye catching. I like to keep things simple and sleek. The graphite would be pretty cool. Any dark grey on Schrawz will be sweet. __________________ I'm back with a different 95 ti | | | 06-23-2006, 07:24 PM | #28 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Columbia, SC Posts: 528 | How would it look wrapped around the rear of the car? | | | 06-28-2006, 02:23 AM | #29 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Toronto Posts: 167 | Im really thinking about getting some.
