Put wrench on pulley to hold pulley and loosen nut on shaft. It is regular thread so counter clockwise. Pulley should come right off. If not light tap with rubber hammer, Lightly. If it does not come off install claw puller and remove with that. Warning do not bang on pulley to remove it. You will damage the supercharger bearing. Again to not bang on pulley to remove it. Install pulley ensuring keyway is in position on SC shaft. Use a tiny bit of red loctite on very end of sc shaft thread and install nut. Tighten nut. Do not use too much Loctite or you will pay hell trying to remove your pulley the next time you try to take it off. Torque nut tight but not too tight, sorry I don't know the torque, but don't get all crazy it's a keyway fit with loctite so my guess is it doesn't need more then 20ftlb. I changed mine 8+ times with no issues It is a very simple job. Did you richen it by screwing down the screw on the RRFPR a bit more? Did you get it on the dyno just to check? Would be great to see the printout if you have one? That is about all you what to do with those stock 19# injectors and tune. If you really want to step up you will need a new tune, 30# injectors and a 1995 M3 MAF + Methenol for 15psi (3.2 pulley). Then that little I-4 will really wake up and plant your butt when you hit the "loud petal" | | | 05-29-2010, 07:39 PM | #36 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by denglish318ti Thats cool! Cheers | Clock-wise turn will increase fuel pressure per psi of boost and make it a richer tune (more fuel) and lower AFR. I think you can figure out how to lean it out from the above. | | | 05-31-2010, 04:15 PM | #37 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: UK Posts: 101 | Fitted my 3.4" pulley today Also thanks for all the info from this thread guy's Interested in adjusting the RRFPR to make it richer now, is this safe to do with out knowing what figure i am to achieve? I will send the ecu off to have a new map from techniquetuning due to surging during light boost conditions which is a pain on the motorway | | | 06-01-2010, 02:40 AM | #38 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by m3nut Fitted my 3.4" pulley today Also thanks for all the info from this thread guy's Interested in adjusting the RRFPR to make it richer now, is this safe to do with out knowing what figure i am to achieve? TT will get rid of that surge. Also the pulley might get rid of that surge due to the different boost at different RPM | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
