Really fast, but 25 mpg too. Lightest of the E36 cars and impossible to fide an M Sport, I looked for 2 years. New CD changer, excellent dash, no rips at all, shows new. New rug, nice headliner, perfect leather seats, very nice. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have no connection with that offer. | | | 05-25-2013, 08:58 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | I wonder how much without the decals? Nothing about brakes, suspension, diff? Impossible to find an M Sport? Rare? No year, no mileage, nothing except it's an S50. As much as I'd love to have another swapped ti, I'd buy a well sorted M3 for that money. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 05-26-2013, 02:18 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: Santa Rosa, CA Posts: 407 | Not even a sport model, unless he for some reason swapped a non-sport rear bumper, side molding, and rear seats haha. __________________ 1997 318ti 5-speed Moreagrün 1996 318ti auto Hellrot (retired) | | | 05-26-2013, 02:35 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Looks like a 1998 since it has rear headrests, unless like you said, he swapped out the rear seats. I wonder why an S50 with an OBD I conversion? Would that even pass inspection in CA? __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 05-26-2013, 06:19 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: Santa Rosa, CA Posts: 407 | If it's a '98, it would not pass CA inspection as all engine swaps must be the same model year or newer. However now that I look closer, it could be a '95 or '96 due to the side markers, unless the fenders were swapped. What a confusing car! __________________ 1997 318ti 5-speed Moreagrün 1996 318ti auto Hellrot (retired) | | | 05-26-2013, 12:35 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Merritt Island, FL Posts: 351 | The 2nd pic doesn't match the 6th one, the engine bay arrangement looks totally different... Is that first one a FI set up with a BOV and an oil catch can? Which set up is current ? __________________ Alpine Weiß 1995 318ti M50tu mostly stock, chip'd 413, AFE Intake. e36 M3 front brakes, e30 M3 rear calipers. e28 3.25 LSD + e30 axles. Rear headrests are only 1998 and 1999. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
