Fastest BMW 1/4 milers

I was doing a search this AM trying to find the fastest BMW drag cars. I had found a lot of posts saying an E36 M3 built by AGP Motorsports was the fastest, and came across an interview with Gene Liu, the owner/mechanic/driver, that I found quite interesting http://www.evotuners.com/liu.htm
After a bit more searching, I came across a thread showing the fastest BMW's are fron Sweden and Norway http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache...ports%22&hl=en
I couldn't believe it, a 2002 with an S14 motor doing 8.399 sec @ 265.47 Km/hr (164.95541 mph)! Found a cool video of an E30 from Kilander Racing in Sweden http://www.kilander-racing.se/ . Click on "Movies" on the left side of the page.

Check out this E21 M20 turbo, can't believe how fast this car is off the line. It just eats up the Opel Ascona in the left lane. The car looks shortened to me, supposedly it's street legal http://w1.226.telia.com/%7Eu22607545/race1.mpg
Remember, the speeds shown on these videos are all Km/hr.

oooh I was gonna say....241 mph. Thats ridANKulous. Faster than a mclaren. But a 9.5 second run is still ridiculous.
