First the passenger side then the driver side. The Driver side window stopped after traveling only a few inches. Now neither window will roll up or down, they do not respond to any input what so ever. The sunroof works fine and all other electrical things in my car work fine. just the windows do not work. Is there a way I might have accidentally locked the windows with out knowing it? The car didn't come with a manual so I don't have that as a resource. It is a 95 base model. Does it even have window locks? How do I unlock it? What else should I do or look for to fix this problem? Thanks. __________________ "Winning is the most important, everything is consequence of that" ~ Ayrton Senna | | | 08-17-2006, 06:43 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | Sounds like a blown fuse.. The window motors are on a different fuse than the sunroof motor. | | | 08-18-2006, 01:56 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | Quote: Originally Posted by mohaughn Sounds like a blown fuse.. There are little plastic tabs in the switch that push the button to roll the window up or down. One of the tabs broke, so it would go down just not up. | | | 08-18-2006, 01:56 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | or Try Ctrl - Alt - Del. | | | 08-18-2006, 07:14 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | Dave (Unix rules Windows is to amuse the children...) __________________ Dave - PDX 1995 318ti - Active Black and Tan. 2005 330xi - Mtech 1 - 6spd - Orient Blue/Black | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
