Default Brembo GT 320mm BBK 2-piece

I'm posting up pics of the rotor upgrade I did a while back. I had been running drilled single piece Brembo 320 mm front rotors from the Brembo GT BBK but finally got to upgrading to 2-piece slotted rotors. Got matching rear slotted OEM solid rotors in the rear, which are more than enough for this car, even with 285hp. Pads are Stoptech Street Perf.

Clex,

When you installed the brake kit did you have to cut the dust backing plate? Getting ready to install my kit and wanted to know if there are any mods to this setup.

Thanks

When I test fitted the 325mm 996/Brembo set up I did not need to remove or cut the backing plate. All that was needed was a slight bend near the caliper. I would suggest keeping the backing plate on a street car.
