Default Front Carpet Removal

I know it has been asked before but I just want to know if I go through the hassle of removing the heater core, I can then pull the rubber drip pan from under where it was and then have full access to remove the front carpet. I appear to have it loose everywhere except on the transmission hump under the dash. I don't want to pull the heater core and then find out there are 27 more steps and I have to pull the entire dash.

Thanks in advance!
