The car runs perfectly. The trans is a bit beat, with 185,000 hard miles with really no maintenance. 11 seconds isn't too bad since the 0-60 for a NEW stock 5 speed is like 8.6-8.9. And like I mentioned, I don't think the app is too accurate. Today, I autocrossed the ti, and was pleased with the results. __________________ No more ti. | | | 04-22-2012, 03:17 AM | #2267 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by spidertri Crap, sorry to hear about the diff cover. I'll know for the next one. Yes, it's a Quaife. No particles. The fluid looked brand new, just smelled bad. I'll pull it out over the winter and have it rebuilt. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-22-2012, 05:19 AM | #2268 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Took it out to meet two other ti's... And afterwards, I wrapped up the cooling system re-do on my project ti... Everything went great, no leaks, no issues, but I lost the bleeder screw cap somehow... My new ti project has 235,000 miles, yet still purrs like a kitten... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. My wire mesh grille project is coming along, too. I'm trying to jazz up my base model front bumper a little without it looking tacky.
