Default will a hood fit in our trunk?

has anyone ever tried to fit a hood into their trunk?
thinking about buying a hood but i need to pick it up..

Yep, it barely fits. I transported a carbon hood in mine and when i sold my clubsport, I gave the buyer a spare hood which he transported in the back as well. You have to slide both of the front seats forward, but it'll fit and the hatch will close.

also, if you take the bottom part of the rear seat out, the seats will fold completely flat

to remove it just grab the edges and pull straight up until the clips release

i think i read somewhere they weigh around 50 lbs...
i could be wrong though...
