If Mav's buddy winds up buying my S50 cams, then I'll take the moldings, cover, and knob (if it's weighted because I've never seen a stock look like that), but if not I know other guys wanted the moldings. I'll let you know by tonight. If I don't say I have the money, they're free game. __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. S50 cams+pistons, e36 M3 front brakes. H&R race springs F+R. The shift knob is not weighted, seems stock. I would think it's original with the wear it has. Aren't heavy weight shift knobs bad for the trans? | | | 04-29-2009, 09:52 PM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Rocky Hill, CT Posts: 1,065 | Yeah, I realized I just spent money on new headlights, a new window regulator, and rims. Forgot I still dad for all that, so there goes my play money for a little while. I guess weighted knobs would be harder on the synchros if you don't shift properly, and would make it easier to mis-shift. I have one, but it's metal had gets very cold and very hot, so I'm using my stubby momo one which I took the rubber inside it out to drop it down more on the shaft. I already have the M-roady shifter, so combined with this knob, shifts are literally flicking my fingers back into my palm __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. Here's an article on Rogue Engineering's site about it: http://www.rogueengineering.com/Merc...gory_Code=SNNN But there's other people who say it's bull so who knows. Attached are some pics of the rear bumper for those who are interested. Keep in mind the lower diffuser is not included. I'm not sure what to ask for it, make me some offers (sans shipping pls).
