Not to mention I didn't even know my buddy was taping this. So really I don't know, it was under 10seconds for sure, but kinda unfair for me and you to say a real number. I know it's faster than 10 seconds 0-80!! .... and it will be even better with sticky rubber. | | | 10-28-2010, 04:27 PM | #97 | Member Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: Bridgeport, PA Posts: 87 | Yeah man, I'm just joshing with you. Sticky tires will be even MORE fun. Until you start breaking drivetrain parts.. Next year should be a good time for turbo ti's! | | | 11-10-2010, 06:31 AM | #98 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Minneapolis, MN Posts: 307 | So, wasn't planning this tonight, but my car ended up on a dyno, good time to get a baseline on my base map. 372.7 WHP @ 11psi omg I wasn't expecting that, super happy about it though! More to go I hope! | | | 11-10-2010, 06:43 AM | #99 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: South Central, MN Posts: 1,065 | Good Lord! Vanos would be nice as well, for some more mid range power. Anyways, thats another day in the future. In case anybody is wondering and hasn't read the whole thread It's a stock non vanos m50 2.5 with the Cometic .120 MLS. I'm running 20.6 degrees of timing - "butt tuned..." With some base tunage help from Mike R. Last edited by hatchgrafix; 11-10-2010 at 07:17 AM. Reason: Corrected my timing # to 20.6 - my memory wasn't right | | | 11-10-2010, 01:01 PM | #102 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: PA Posts: 283 | Sweet dude! Mike Radowski + E85 x 11 psi = FUN! Where are you running 20.6 degrees? I know you asked me for my info a while back, but I honestly don't know the correct answer. I can't wait till we both blow up our wussy motors and then go ALL OUT!! | | | 11-10-2010, 03:14 PM | #103 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Minneapolis, MN Posts: 307 | Quote: Originally Posted by bubela Sweet dude! I can't wait till we both blow up our wussy motors and then go ALL OUT!! | I'm running 20.6 at 4k-6500 wot 11psi, his base map timing was like 18 degrees and I kept adding timing and it kept pulling harder, it just didn't feel right a 18 degrees with the e85. I modified his map so much to get it to respond better with the e85, he hasn't tuned much with e85, and the stuff just simply needs more timing to run right. | | | 11-10-2010, 05:37 PM | #104 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: PA Posts: 283 | That's awesome. Do you have an EGT sensor somewhere? | | | 11-13-2010, 08:27 PM | #105 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Minneapolis, MN Posts: 307 | Quote: Originally Posted by bubela That's awesome. Kinda thinking the clutchnet red or at least a clutch that's good for 800tq as I fear for more power in the future! | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
