Random starts

K iv had this prob since i got the car and its begining to really annoy me..Car starts 1st time in the mornings no probs at all..However if iv been driving, especially a few different journeys and start and stops it just doesnt wanna start. It doesn't take long and only 2 or 3 attempts but i have to feather the gas pedal whilst turning the key then it kicks in..It sound quite rough till i rev it again then it just drops to normal revs and runs perfect again. Last night it did the same and it had been sitting at work for 8hrs which was odd. It does tend to be more if iv given it a "good run" too..(i mean booted it abit!!)
Any one got any ideas?? Its serviced very reg always on time for the service lights and usually a few months before its really due...

Hmm , did the ECU get wet? Has the sound of a computer / wiring glitch.
I'd also start checking all the main wiring connections, battery to starter etc.

You may be getting an intermittent open somewhere...
