i really like the e86 m coupes though but those are way too expensive

Beautiful little beast, I have to say. Congratulations, and that's a pretty good price to pick it up for as far as my knowledge goes.

I find I prefer the hard top version of the m-roadster, so I guess technically it's an m-coupe as well. I never figured out if there's a naming difference in the wagon type body and the roadster hardtop body. But! I'm still very jealous.

Congrats and a nice price too....

Now go lift up your trunk floor, remove the two Phillips screws and take out the front floor piece and check the floor for any cracked spot welds over the rear diff. area. (it's easier to see if you heat up the sound deadner "tar" and scrap it off) You can also see some of the spot welds from underneath along with the rear diff mounting ear - check for any cracks.

Basic mods: ECIS intake...Supersprint exhaust if you can find one on sale...Conforti Shark... best one would be the suspension and it sounds like you already have that.

I've actually been looking at the ecis products and will probably order one this weekend. Supersprint would be awesome and I'd have to get the track pipe too but that would be like 1800 bucks

Hey CHris,

The important thing is you're o.k. from the accident.
The Mcoupe is a nice find. I had taken one of my client's on the track a couple of years ago. At the time the only mods were a supersprint exhaust, coilovers and track pads; sweet!

Cheers,
