But could be the car someone is looking for if their doing a swap or something. __________________ uhm...yeah...Vrooom | | | 10-18-2007, 02:20 PM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Tulsa/Ft Worth Posts: 102 | Well I talked with my dad a bit and despite the fact that the engine works we decided we should sell it as if it were a rolling shell. This is because repairing or replacing the auto transmission (if that is indeed the problem and not the differential) is too expensive for most people. A manual transmission would probably be a cheaper replacement, but I didn't look into that. Regardless, my previous offer of first $1500 takes it home has now been rescinded. The best offer over $1000 gets to take it. __________________ uhm...yeah...Vrooom | | | 10-18-2007, 04:36 PM | #18 | Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: SoCal :D Posts: 73 | Goodness. You know you could probably have the car thrown on a trailer and brought to you for around $4-500. Still a good deal I think __________________ uhm...yeah...Vrooom | | | 10-25-2007, 09:09 PM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Tulsa/Ft Worth Posts: 102 | Bump cause I've been away for a few days. The garage I'm storing it in will no longer be available after December and I doubt I will have the money to get it repaired in time. SO, since starting at $1500 and working down didn't work, I'll start at the other end. This is an auction, the car will be posted on Craigslist and AutoTrader in Dallas/Ft Worth. Auction starts at $1 Highest bid gets it. Bidding ends in two weeks. It goes in craigslist in three days, auto trader after that. If anyone hits $1000 they get it. Any questions check the original post or pm me. __________________ uhm...yeah...Vrooom | | | 11-20-2007, 05:18 AM | #27 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Tulsa/Ft Worth Posts: 102 | I will be in town for Thanksgiving. This is a good time to hit me up about seeing the car in person. I'll be in DFW Wed and Thurs.
