Default will this exhaust fit?

I've got the lovely tinny cat noise syndrome.. I don't know exactly where its coming from sometimes it sounds like its the middle but then also the rear, just a vibrating metal noise.

Been to two 'reputable' exhaust shops and they said 'nothin wong with it' but its driving me nuts lol. Then I enquired about the price and its definately not cheap at all is it!

Anyway, does anyone know if this looks like the same exhaust for the 98 ti compact? The back box looks familiar but the front, from what i can remember looks a tad different.

What kind of exhaust is this? Or is it just a used one?

Just a used, standard. I was just wondering if anybody recognised the front part (with cat) and whether that would fit

Have a look underneath your car? Picture's got the resonator and cat switched with the one in the diagram.

Vibration might be the exhaust shields. Mine corroded around the bolts and were shaking for a long time. Just get under and give it a tug.

I had the rattling and shaking from the area of my cat as well. It turned out that a one of the cones I hit at the last autocross nearly ripped off my heat shield.
