Exclamation Can these wheels be adapted

I bought a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's a few weeks ago. The person I bought them off did not give me the Stud Diameter, but the price was too good to refuse so I bought them any way.

I have since found out the Stud Diameter is incorrect for my compact - Can an adapter be bought to make these wheels fit as I dont want to really sell them.

This is an example image of the wheels I bought 5 stud and only 2 makrs on 1x alloy with tyres only paid £150

Any Help apreciated.....

You need to figure out what bolt pattern you have in order for us to make suggestions. Have you checked the back of the lug area, a lot of manufacturers put the wheel info there.

It is possible to weld the bolt holes and redrill them on some wheels, you would have to take it to a machine shop and ask them if it would be possible and safe with the wheels you have.

Also, any wheel adapter is going to obviously push the wheel outwards effectively lowering the offset the same way a spacer would. Most of the adapters I have seen are ~20mm minimum thickness. That is going to significantly reduce the amount of tire you can run.

I'll get all of the info, I might just re-sell them.

I really fancy some BBS split rim alloys with power coated gold centre's and polished lips....

He has a Ti in his photo gallery, so his bolt pattern is 5x120.

OP, it's not worth the time or cost to adapt those wheels, if it's even possible. My advice is to either return them or sell them and buy a set with a 5x120 bolt pattern, et35-50mm offset and a 72.56mm center bore.

your definitly not gonna get a 4 bolt to work on a Ti without alot of $$$$....

I think those wheels are hawt as balls though, and if they are 4x100, you should buy an E30 to put on top of them

EDIT : you say they are a 5 bolt... my bad - still sucks that they are the wrong fit.

Yeah I know he has a ti, I meant he needs to get the bolt pattern of the wheels so we know what he needs to adapt 5x120 to.

for 150, just flip them for a huge profit since they won't fit your car

Thinking about the profit, and putting it towards a set of BBS £900 gold interiors with polished lips...

That would be nice

or just getting my existing rims polished or painted White

Superglue and duct tape it on. Once the glue dries, remove the duct tape.
