Default Need CEL code reader in North Carolina or Tennessee

Hey guys, as many of you know, I am vacationing this week in North Carolina. Unfortunately, as I was driving the Blue Ridge Parkway today, my check engine light came on. This could be something minor like an oxygen sensor, or it could be something bigger. I really don't want to drive all the way back to Florida with my light on, not knowing what it is.

So I was wondering if any of you in North Carolina or Tennesee would be willing to have me meet up with you so I can borrow your code reader to determine what this problem is. I am staying in the Dillsboro/Sylva area and am willing to travel to meet you. I just really wanna know what the problem is before driving all the way back not knowing! I'll be here until Friday the 27th, leaving early Saturday morning. Thanks so much

Or go to autozone and they'll read it for you...

e-mail me if I can help... amcgruder@hotmail.com

Okay, thanks. I didn't know that AutoZone would read codes for free or that they had code readers for BMWs but I am gonna go ahead and check them out first. Thanks for your help
