Seatbelts take a Torx. I think that's it. | | | 08-10-2006, 12:48 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Oakland, baby! The transmission to engine bolts are the same type. The door panels use a male torx bit. I have a Husky Torx screwdriver set, and a Lisle E6 though E16 Torx socket set. It's covered everything I've come across. | | | 08-13-2006, 07:46 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | 14mm allen socket for the differential drain/fill plugs. Tell us what kind of work you're planning on doing. Might remember something else. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 08-14-2006, 05:40 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Oakland, baby! Brakes are a 7mm (?) allen socket. Be sure you read up on the pyrotechnic seat tensioner if you swap seats. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 08-14-2006, 01:47 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Asheville NC Posts: 669 | Is our transmission bolts torx as well? I went and bought complete torx socket fittings for my wratchet. The total cost was less than $15 at Advance auto and was well worth not having to stop 1/2 way through a project to locate the correct tool. I still need to get a metric allen wrench socket set, but the local store only sells individuals. | | | 08-14-2006, 04:57 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | e12 AND e14 females for the trans. | | | 08-14-2006, 04:58 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | Oil Fil Cap is a large black socket you get at any parts store Deutsch # something. | | | 08-14-2006, 06:22 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Oakland, baby! The transmission fill/drain plugs on my '97 are a normal 17mm socket. Panzer; which ones are you referring to? The filter cap wrench is a Deutsch type "B," IIRC. I'll have to check in a week when I'm home. Can anyone confirm? __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
