Default Two sizes of rotor set screws?

Are there two sizes that are used for BMW rotors? I've always thought the set screws were all the same size. Switching from E46 M3 rotors to E36 328 rotors and the set screw hole in the 328 rotors is larger than the set screw hole for the E46 rotors. I've compared part numbers, and they all use the same part number. Using Centric blanks, same rotors and supplier I have in the E46 fitment.
