I'm selling it because I just bought a Club Sport. I currently use it to commute to work, 400 miles a week. It only broke down on me once when the idle control unit (that's what the mechanic called it) failed and the engine would shut off if the throttle wasn't applied. That's been replaced this past August and I haven't had a problem since. Everything seems to work in the car. Both power mirrors, locks, alarms, and the California roof all work. No popped speakers with an aftermarket cd player. This car was in a small fender bender that never got reported because it wasn't in the carfax report when I checked. The bumper and the grill took some minor damage. No parts seems to have been replaced and the fog lights work fine. Just a small dent the size of a hockey puck around the left kidney grill. Also, when I take left turns hard and with the weight of the car transferred to the front left suspension, it makes this grinding noise. Metal to metal maybe. While tossing around the car, I had my steering wheel shake on me and another time, this peice of metal cover fell off. My mechanic said it was the stabilizer cover. It's been welded back on, but the problem still appears to be there though. $4,500 The only picture I have, I'm taking more tomorrow. Car should be available for inspection sometime next week. | | | 12-18-2007, 03:13 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | good luck with the sale! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 12-18-2007, 05:21 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: OKC, Oklahoma Posts: 387 | good price! it has the ///M kit to? | | | 12-18-2007, 08:57 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Orange County, NY Posts: 1,067 | It does have the M-tech body kit from the factory. | | | 12-19-2007, 01:16 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | haha your title was misleading... Usually these cars are on the other side of the country. Can you email me the VIN number I would like to do a CarFax report on the vehicle? Thank you so much. The airbag light also goes on and off. Has a mind of it's own and the seller before me supposedly had it fixed, and it was fixed for about a year. The light just started coming back on. | | | 12-19-2007, 11:24 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Orange County, NY Posts: 1,067 | | | | 12-21-2007, 05:58 PM | #13 | Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Ventura County Posts: 55 | ahh man you have to be on the other ocean. | | | 12-21-2007, 08:52 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: atlanta Posts: 145 | PM sent | | | 12-23-2007, 01:10 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Orange County, NY Posts: 1,067 | Quote: Originally Posted by kenster ahh man you have to be on the other ocean. | atlanta318ti, PM has been responded. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
