Default 318 Event in OC, CA

The people on Bimmer Forums are trying to set up a 318 meet at the Irvine Spectrum around Christmas time. There will be people for LA and San Diego attending.

And anyone that wants to see an intercooled DASC, I will bring the IAAS project car down.

A date has not been selected as of yet.

Looks like we have meet crashers over on BimmerForums.

We should organize the details of the meet on here. Seems like most of the people attending are here anyways

It's OK.. Drope me a PM with your number or email me at zerog5@juno.com and we can work it all out.

You can also add my friend Dave. Bimmerforums = Boosted318IS

I will organize a caravan from San Diego up to the event once the event details get ironed out.

There are a few people on Bimmerforums being turds.

Quote one of them "deuce meets are ok, Coupe meets are fine, e28 and e30 meets, sure, but M42? who gives a ****?"

That is the exact attitude that I dont want there. So we might move the final details to either an email list or just post them here since most of them wont come on this board.

yep 318tis are the "misfits" of BMW.

But that is what makes them cool to me(and handing2).

start the 318ti mafia and if someones messes . well. I help dipose of them.

in so cal there are a million nice bmws and there arent too much real bmw meets. Hope something goes on and if it does please inform us with a post.
thanks

I will be sure to take a camera and post pics for you guys. I am not sure if there are many 318ti's signed up yet, but at least the engine will be represented!

Yeah, actually.... where do you think we should meet for the caravan from San Diego to Irvine?

I usually meet at the Carlsbad Outlet Mall, but that will be a mistake on the day after Christmas!!

I am up in Oceanside, so I am not too big on driving south too far only to head back north again. So somewhere like UTC is not too good for me at least. Basically, anywhere in North County will work... just need to find a parking lot that is big and easy to access from the freeway. You know what might work?.... Plaza Camino Real (aka 'The Carlsbad Mall') off the 78 and 5. The parking lot there is HUGE and freeway access is easy. What do you think?
