Default Gauges and sending unit / adapter

Hi all,

I want to install 3 gauges, the only things i want to know are the ones below, can somebody please help me :

- And can somebody tell me where to find a write-up or tell me how to do the electrical wiring for the guages...
- I want to buy the below, and is the manual correct ?

Is this intended for a 318ti? Our cars don't have spin on filters, they use filter cartridges. This kit won't work.

Don't know, but It's not the filter you need to take off but the whole filterhousing I think, does anybody know if it's possible, and if it's going to fit ?

in the manual it says BMW : 3/4unf-16 so think it's possible...

I've not seen an oil temp sender unit that works at the oil filter for a 318ti, m42 or m44. You would have to get a temp sender that replaces the oil pan plug and wire the temp gauge to that...

There is a writeup from Ron Stygar on how to use a VDO oil pressure sender if you want oil pressure as well.

Hmz that's to bad, didn't know that it wasn't unscrewable (sry for the bad language). DOes anyone know where I can fin these oil temp, press. adapter pref. in europe...

BTW does somebody know where I can find another Adapter for oil pressure en temperature ? preferably in Europe ... And How I need to connect it ???
