Does it pass the smog test here?? If it doesnt, do you know if i can switch it back to the original airbox easily? Thanks alot. -Randy __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. You can swap back the factory air box easily. If CARB is your thing I would stick with DINAN. -Chad | | | 02-25-2005, 01:42 AM | #3 | Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: washington Posts: 42 | hey i have a cosmo CAI and it took me 3 hours to install it. i dont think it is hard to swap the two but it is just time comsuming. __________________ 1997 BMW 318ti Cosmo Racing CAI Next Project: Exhaust... | | | 02-25-2005, 07:29 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | Hey thanks guys. Chad, what do you mean by K&N? Are you talking about their filters, or do they make intakes for our cars too? Thanks again -Randy __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. I could be wrong though. There intakes normally consist of a short ram tube and coned filter. -Chad | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
