Im looking to install a push start button into the BMW more as a bit of fun than anything else. Im an electronic engineering student so it'll be a useful experiment! All i want to know is what button's can i use? I cant get my hands on a z8 push start button (not in stock at the main dealers), so im wondering what else could i possibly use?? Do any other model bmw have a push start? It is only a momentary switch, so is it possible to use a horn switch or something similar. Iv never installed one before so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any feedback! Take number to local dealer and ask them to order it- should only take a few days to get it in. | | | 03-04-2009, 12:54 PM | #10 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Ireland, Limerick Posts: 19 | Cheer's lads thanks! | | | 03-07-2009, 11:53 PM | #11 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Ireland, Limerick Posts: 19 | Button installed used a stainless steel momentary button looks great! | | | 03-08-2009, 12:20 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: The Netherlands Posts: 188 | Waauuw that's looking good! hmmm I am going to the dealer hahaha. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
