Can't figure out a way to remove, even if I bend upward, seems like will snap. Anyone done this before? Referring to part #18 on this link: http://www.bmwpartscounter.com/showA...ssembly=154419 Thanks in advance... | | | 11-07-2010, 07:02 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | I am not sure if the upper section can be easily removed with the steering wheel in place... But, try removing the lower section first, then see if the upper section is loose enought to remove. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. I remember there being a plastic fastener that needed to be removed. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 11-07-2010, 01:22 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | I've removed the upper portion.
