A heavy duty one for the inside to glue in a brace piece, and Bondo Bumper flexible expoy for finishing the outside. It's sandable after it cures, so it makes a smooth repair... Worked like a charm. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. May sound stupid, but i let it rain and snow on that sport interior in the junkyard. Im gonna go back and see if hell sell it for next to nothing since itll be wet. It didnt look damage and im pretty sure i can clean it up pretty good. Think its worth it? __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 12-06-2008, 11:50 PM | #426 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Well, it's been in a junkyard for who knows how long already, so a little more rain and snow couldn't hurt too much more... I't only worth it if he'll deal... How much was he asking before? __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. But that was even when he had all the parts inside the car sitting on everything. That price included all door panels and complete seats. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 12-06-2008, 11:58 PM | #428 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Not to go too far off topic, but I've got a line on the rear bumper from a club sport. Only downside is that there is a pretty good crack in it. I have never done any sort of fix like that, is it hard to do/learn? __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 12-07-2008, 12:00 AM | #429 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Just a learning experience, thats how im doing it. Just try it out on something else and see how good you are at repairing, then do it on the real thing. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 12-07-2008, 12:02 AM | #430 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Quote: Originally Posted by Bluebimma He wanted 400 before and said come up there and work something out. I wish i were better at sewing and such, id just do a black suede/leather combo with my current seats and keep my current leather as back up if need be. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 12-07-2008, 12:06 AM | #432 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Quote: Originally Posted by spidertri Not to go too far off topic, but I've got a line on the rear bumper from a club sport. As long as the bumper isn't cracked into pieces, you should be able to fix it... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. The Vaders I bought last year were trashed and I did a lot of stitching by hand to fix the seams. The hardest part is getting it all back together... The foam is molded and there are a dozen or so thin metal rods and sleeves that tuck into the foam to hold the seats shape... And the sport seats are a similar set-up. If you do get the sport interior, I would disassemble the seats (take the seat bases and backs off to dry out), but wouldn't de-skin the leather from the foam. That's where it gets to be a real b***h... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion.
