What a little demon your car is turning into... looks and sounds great

I ended up using 2 different epoxies to repair my bumper... A heavy duty one for the inside to glue in a brace piece, and Bondo Bumper flexible expoy for finishing the outside. It's sandable after it cures, so it makes a smooth repair... Worked like a charm.

Yea, ive been practicing with some old parts in the garage so i can do a perfect fix on the front and rear.

May sound stupid, but i let it rain and snow on that sport interior in the junkyard. Im gonna go back and see if hell sell it for next to nothing since itll be wet. It didnt look damage and im pretty sure i can clean it up pretty good. Think its worth it?

He wanted 400 before and said come up there and work something out. But that was even when he had all the parts inside the car sitting on everything. That price included all door panels and complete seats.

Not to go too far off topic, but I've got a line on the rear bumper from a club sport. Only downside is that there is a pretty good crack in it. I have never done any sort of fix like that, is it hard to do/learn?

Just a learning experience, thats how im doing it. Just try it out on something else and see how good you are at repairing, then do it on the real thing.

Well, that sounds like a pretty decent deal espcially with the panels, and you could probably get it for less now... just make sure you get the seat foam nice and dry...

i thought about hitting up JoAnn fabrics if need be to replace any foam. I wish i were better at sewing and such, id just do a black suede/leather combo with my current seats and keep my current leather as back up if need be.

I'd never done it before either, but practice first... As long as the bumper isn't cracked into pieces, you should be able to fix it...

I've done several repairs to seats, and it is not easy... The Vaders I bought last year were trashed and I did a lot of stitching by hand to fix the seams. The hardest part is getting it all back together... The foam is molded and there are a dozen or so thin metal rods and sleeves that tuck into the foam to hold the seats shape... And the sport seats are a similar set-up. If you do get the sport interior, I would disassemble the seats (take the seat bases and backs off to dry out), but wouldn't de-skin the leather from the foam.
That's where it gets to be a real b***h...
