Default Howdy, New 1995 318TI hellrot clubsport owner

I am Just getting used to the site, I recently aquired my brother's 1995 Clubsport 318TI in hellrot with the 5spd manual. Mostly Pickup trucks out in Wyoming so its fun to drive something different. Heres a pic from just a few days ago...I still have a pickup however.

Welcome to the fold (thought I would throw in a livestock reference there since you're in Wyoming).

What's the current status of interstae speed limits out there? Unlimited or just loose?

Are you tastade's brother? I have seen his car, as he bought it here in Ft. Collins.

Well it does have room for several sheep and maybe a good looking goat with the seats folded down :+). The speed limit is 75mph on Interstate and 55- 65mph on other paved roads. And traffic doesn't go much above those because there is no "safety in numbers" like in urban areas.

Well, welcome to the board. I think Wyoming is one of the best states in the Union for driving fast. Probably second only to Montana. Ever done the drive out to Hell's Half Acre or Independence Rock? Simply amazing. I was doing at least 90 whenever the road was straight enough. Check out the photo in my gallery from Sept '04. This is the stuff dreams are made of.

I agree and I have been out there several times. South Dakota and Nevada also have some extremely Isolated roads in good condition for really moving along. Gotta watch for loose cattle, antelope, Elk, etc.

Those are some nice pictures, I see your car is just like mine. I have a little spoiler above the rear window or I would have to take a double take. I will post some pictures of my car when I can get it out and photograped.

Yep, gotta watch out for animals. Even the occasional jackrabbit made me nervous for my front bumper, it's so low. Hope to see your car around, online or in person.

LSD was part of the '95 club sport package.

No LSD in '97, AFAIK.

It then uses the ABS system to brake the wheel that is slipping. If that's not working it uses a secondary throttle body in the intake to cut power. The only extra weight is that little throttle body and a handful of electronics. The good thing about ASC+T is that it can be turned off completely with a button on the dash. Other than not having an LSD, there is no drawback to having a car with this system.
