hey guys recently purchased my first 318ti (very happy with it so far) but basically I've done a full service changed the gearbox oil aswell so I was thinking I may as well change the differential oil now but is it worth it ??? if so what oil should I use I'm not bothered about price because I don't like cheap nasty oil its a just a standard diff but if any of you could help me I would gladly appreciate it thanks and looking forward to hearing from you |  |  | | 12-03-2012, 06:48 PM | #2 | | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,352 |
I'd change the fluid just so you know it's been done.
I've been using 75w90 Red Line
Not sure if you need 75w90 or 75w90ns. __________________ ...steven

It should be changed regularly. I change mine every 30k, sooner if the car sees any track time.
