DASC or roots blower has to have the Meth kit to cool the intake charge which will be around 212 degs on a summer day, No good but with meth injection it chemically cools the charge to acceptable levels and meth really adds octane to the charge so detonation is not an issue. PNosker and I have done the 15psi dasc with meth and got excellent results. Downing Atlanta doesn't make the kit anymore. | | | 11-14-2015, 01:03 AM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by bchen87 And do you know anyone that has a DASC for sale? The fastwayrace kit is good except we like to change out a few parts he offers for other parts that fit better. Gauges and turbo oil supply are a few items we like to change on the fastway kit. I have worked with fastway on my kit and 2 others and he is real good about getting the kit right for your setup and shipping for free. If you find a DASC kit some things need to be changed to fit your car so it fits the M42. I think there is a member on the board that has a DASC kit in his hands and might sell. He is 60 miles south from me.. | | | 11-14-2015, 02:15 AM | #19 | Member Join Date: Nov 2015 Location: Vermont, USA Posts: 33 | Quote: Originally Posted by xxxJohnBoyxxx No I don't but the DASC kit is out there you just have to find one. Feel free to give him my email Bchenny87@gmail.com. otherwise I'll probably go with the fast way turbo. My mechanic friend should be able to install for me. Either way should be much cheaper than the swap and I'd like to stick with the m42 as it only has 63k on it. Last edited by roadrash; 11-18-2015 at 04:46 AM.
