Default Replacing a hood advice please

Hi, ive got hold of a replacement hood for my 99 m spec, the original hood was peeling laquer and scratched. I need to change it this weekend, Has any one got a step by step guide or info on doing this' its the fact it looks to be a simple job is whats bothering me thanks in advance jjay

its heavy. find a second person to help you. undo the bolts on the top part of the hinge take hood off. bolt one side in loosely then the other side. keep shutting and adjusting hood until you like the way it lines up. there is plenty of room for adjustment.

Thanks rochey 6957, seems as simple as I suspected, although I am sure I will regret saying that out loud. Apologies for sounding dumb on first post but didnt want to miss something obvious, I am used to working on classic VW's where all manner of strange stuff applies. Thanks again.
