On my way home from a check up at my mechanics, he was making sure all seals and gaskets he replaced to get the oil leaks fixed were still sealed, when the check engine light came on. I wish i had my swear jar on me.... Turns out my cam-shaft positions sensor is bad, another 95$ i gotta spend.... the CPS is a fairly common failure. unfortunately, repairs seem to come in waves. hopefully you'll get through it and actually get to enjoy the car! __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles

talking about braking down in waves..... I just replaced my motor cause it I had a warped head and fried piston rings. needed new headers, new muffler, now my transmission is acting up. not to mention that my tires are worn pretty bad. | | | | |
