I recall a bunch of broken plastic chunks being attached all around the bumper and such... i'm guessing the previous owner didn't like the splashguard... or maybe he just didn't like a parking curb.

Mine was torn when I got the car, I replaced it with the part at bavauto was like $17 I think. It is the bottom cover for the area/space btw the grille and the radiator. I can post a picture later.

WTH!? I posted 4 pictures yesterday!

It is attached by 4 of those goldish colored 10mm trim bolt/screws and inserts into notches in wheelwell-frontbumper transition piece.

I know this is an old thread but I am wondering if this is what I was missing. There are 2 plastic pieces under the brake duct attached to the spoiler. In the center there is a missing piece. It attaches to the 2 plastic pieces on the side underneath.. Is this the $17 part from bavauto? Just want to double check before I order. I thought it was the splash panel, but realoem has something different pictured when I searched. I will take a pic later if noone is certain.

If you don't have the piece pictured, from underneath, in the middle pic in the post above...then yeah. Sorry, that's kind of a run-on sentence or something.

Seems to me your talking about the "undertray", I think you guys in the states seem not to have it fitted from factory where as in europe it is a common fitment, helps with airflow (nice and smooth), engine bay air managment, and noise suppression in driveby. It also has a little flap in it so you can access the sump plug without removing the whole tray.

Best regards David

Men, part on the pictures is in stock equipment on Europe TI, it protects radiator and air-conditioning parts from dust and rocks. It's very cheap and BavAuto offres you OEM part.

As you can see, it has OEM sticker on it.

One my friend also didn't have this radiator protection cover and I've sent him detailed 3MB photos to identify this part.

If some of you are really interested please mail me your e-mails and I'll send it to you.

The bavauto link doesnt work for me, I am in the same situation, the splash guard under the radiator is torn along the the side peices that they attach to, thanks to wading around in monsoon floods. I have a 98 stock Mtechnic Ti, and the european air diverter thing you guys mentioned sounds awesome...
