The M90 is just a detuned M88 IIRC and would probably be a tight fit in an E36, with similar power gains to a M50/2, so Im not sure if itd be worth the hassle __________________ 1999 BMW 318ti

I apologize I remember seeing the S54 thread, but didn't know if the M54 would be any different. The other thread looks promising though! What would be easier to get more power out of later though? I think the older M90 has some real potential to be a very powerful motor, I mean its essentially the same block as the M88 and the tuned turbo versions of those were capable of well over 500 horses, but with that said it will most likely cost a bit more and be less reliable __________________ 1999 BMW 318ti
