Default Starting Problem

My ti usually always started up fine no matter how often I drove it but recently I parked it for a day or two max and went to start it and nothing happened. Not a turn, nothing. The battery has plenty of power, when I turn on the car, everything comes on in the dash and cd player, but when I turn the key to start the motor, I get absolutely nothing. I'm thinking it's not something major, but does anyone know what the problem might be and let me know what i should check out or replace. Thanks

the car is a 1996, it has many kilometers but it just seems so weird for it to stop starting suddenly. how can i find out if it's the ignition?

You should take your glove box out and u will find the EWS. Take a test lamp and clip it to the green wire far left and see if it lights when u turn the key to start. If it lights then u have power going to your ews and your ignition is all right. If the lamp lights then its the starter....replace starter

it was the starter, I checked the green wire like you said, worked great, glad it wasn't the ignition! Picked up a used started with a 1 year guarantee for $60. Thanks again
