Not a turn, nothing. The battery has plenty of power, when I turn on the car, everything comes on in the dash and cd player, but when I turn the key to start the motor, I get absolutely nothing. I'm thinking it's not something major, but does anyone know what the problem might be and let me know what i should check out or replace. Take a test lamp and clip it to the green wire far left and see if it lights when u turn the key to start. If it lights then u have power going to your ews and your ignition is all right. If the lamp lights then its the starter....replace starter http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...33&hg=61&fg=25 __________________ Stephen 1995 318TI Vin# sam51751 | | | 08-07-2007, 07:51 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: airdrie, scotland Posts: 9 | how did you get on with the starter thingy | | | 09-21-2007, 07:07 PM | #8 | Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Montreal, Canada Posts: 52 | it was the starter, I checked the green wire like you said, worked great, glad it wasn't the ignition!
